Red Heart - I Love You Flat Card in French - Feminine with Red Lined Envelope

Oh, the French! Whether you like or not, their language is beautiful and when pronounced correctly, quite intense. I created this card out of my love of French. See, my dad was 1/2 French and I spent seven years learning French with the goal of conversing with my Grandmother. Unfortunately, she died when I was 12 and I moved on to studying Italian, but I've always kept my French close to my heart and I've found the time to visit France regularly, so as not to lose that love and piece of myself that is French.

When I started sitting down to create Valentine's Day cards, I realized that I could not just have a basic love card. No. I needed to create a card that inspires the intensity of what "I love you" means. These cards are simple, handmade, and have enough space for your own message on the back.

The card is 4x6 recycled paper stock in white with a red tissue paper heart hand cut by me and comes with a kraft paper envelope lined with the metallic red text weight paper stock. The red heart is not a perfect heart and that is just to emphasize that love is never perfect, but always rewarding and worthy.
