S2 loves working with customers on special projects regardless the event or reason. From baby showers to business branding, Sara has you covered!  She loves getting into your head(s) and picking away at them until she can deliver a product you are happy with and she is proud of stamping the HeartedS2 logo. You will be part of the process without having any worries or concerns, every step of the way.

In a society that barely writes, it is important more than ever to have quality stationery that you love.

When purchasing a set of stationery from S2 Stationery and Design, you enter a world of design and communication unlike any other. S2 Stationery and Design believes that stationery should reflect your personality, but the aesthetics should never overshadow the sentiment, words, or need of the writer. S2 Stationery and Design focuses on two types of products for clients: Couture/Customized and Ready Made Designs. Both require time and creativity, but Couture/Customized designs involve more specific skills, such as listening and working directly with the client to translate an idea into an ideal product.

Ready Made designs come from the inner workings of Sara’s mind, but often reflect trending topics in culture such as nature, food, plants and flowers, travel, and anything else that catches her eye and inspires her to create.

Every piece created by S2 Stationery and Design is handmade by Sara. Even if a card is printed digitally, Sara hand cuts each item, guaranteeing that each one is unique.

This card is absolutely beautiful. It comes in a beautiful metallic envelope with trademark S2 interior paper lining. The lining is a beautiful Japanese waves design, one of a selection that Sara presented in determining the final design. The card itself is a postcard type card, with beautiful lettering and design. I can’t wait to give this beautiful card to my friend on their Wedding Day! Thanks, Sara for this wonderful card. If you are reading this and thinking about getting something custom-designed by S2, I strongly recommend you start a convo with Sara - she will provide you with three potential designs and incorporate your ideas with her creative flair to come up with something really special, professional and stylish.

Your custom creation begins by simply placing your order. Personal consultation will include timeline establishment and price outline, which will vary depending on the size and scope of your order. Likely, your order will fall into one of the three categories below:

  • General Orders - (i.e., those that do not require personalization) take approximately one week to fill and mail.

  • Personalized, Small-Scaled Orders - (i.e., 50 items or under, personalized stationery, letterhead, note cards, thank yous) take up to 3 weeks to fill and mail. Estimated project timeline includes consultation, design, selection and approval.

  • Personalized, Large-Scaled Orders - (i.e., 50+ items, invitations, announcements) take an average of 3-4 weeks to fill and mail, though timeline is subject to change depending upon the scope of the project. Estimated project timeline includes consultation, design, selection and approvals.

Some items that appear here have already been created as special orders. Most items can be reproduced, such as the "Merci" line of cards, and are available for ordering at any time.

Once complete, all orders are packed and shipped in reused boxes and padded envelopes using shredded pieces of paper in place of bubble wrap according to S2’s dedication to environmental sustainability. While all products are wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon, S2 encourages customers to reuse all materials. All orders are mailed via USPS priority mail with confirmation and insurance, unless an alternate method of shipping is specified as preferred.

Techniques
To support S2 Stationary and Design’s consistent growth, Sara is constantly learning new skills and techniques to bring to the designs. When it comes to the end result of each piece, Sara trusts her gut and creative intuition. Learning is not limited to skills that directly impact her craft, but rather used as an opportunity to explore those that open new brain patterns and provide fresh inspirations.

Examples of how Sara creates pieces are sometimes available via video. When videos become available, you can view them on this page. Sara is all about sharing as she continues to learn and hone in her skills and techniques. After all, she firmly believes you should be able to and aspire to be creative as much as possible!
