When I was a little girl I wanted nothing more than to live on a "Indian Reservation" with Native Americans spending my days hunting buffalo, wearing moccasins, and fishing. As an adult aging every year, I think about my childhood desire. My heart still longs for the Native peoples of America - they sing to me every day and ocassionally through my designs.

This card came about after years of looking at the circle Nepalese paper in my collection. Finally, this past summer, I cut it out as a liner and played with the idea of love, marriage, rings, circles, and the circular-ness of life and went back to my Native American longing. Doing research, I came across this quote by Luther Standing Bear, Oglala Lakota Chief and knew it was the perfect fit.

Sold as a single A2 (4.25" x 5.5") folded card with a hand-lined envelope. Paper stock is matte cream, with the envelope being a textured stock. The envelope lining is as appears - cream backing with different colored and patterned circles of various sizes. The lining is handmade from Nepal. No envelope is the same. Depending on how I cut the envelope, your circles can be any color, but will be matched based on the colors of the circle to the cream or gold envelope (your choice).
