"Delicious!" As my four-and-a-half year old niece says to me when she's eating something she likes.

Inspired by her voice when she says that word, these cards are also an ode to the magazines from the 50s and 60s that inspired women to cook and host dinner parties across America.

Everything about these cards is retro! The pages are from old magazines, so the colors and the language and styling is from the 50s and 60s. Nothing like seeing jello when you open an envelope flap!

Given to me by a good friend whose Mom has a vast collection of old cooking magazines. She thought I could do something exactly like this - create cards for people who love to cook to use to send their notes. She wanted them to have another chance at art.

Each set contains 8 cards and envelopes. The cards are a simple flat card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") on cream stock with space to write on front and back. The envelopes are a rusty red/orange. Each envelope is fully lined with old magazine pages -- no two envelopes in a set are the same. They are all different! Every liner is hand cut by me and every envelope is assembled by me as well.
