I noticed her in my 20s, but didn’t think too much about her. Instead choosing to call her “my inner goddess" - so original I know! She’d appear at moments of extreme struggle.
I really remember her appearing during my marathon training days. On mornings/afternoons where I could not gather the motivation to put my feet together to run one more mile, I’d call on her. And she never failed me.
And then I forgot about her. Well, I didn’t forget about her, I just stopped calling on her. I stopped giving her attention. Even that slight attention during running hurdles was an acknowledgement she needed - that I needed.
In 2020, on my birthday, after some time, I called on her again. And she answered. And she hasn’t left. If anything, she’s become louder - very vocal on my path and I take it. I hear it. I love it. Even when I haven’t decided that I’m for what she is diving me to do.
And so, here we are. Two-and-a-half years later and my inner goddess, is inspired by many goddesses. Right now, we have Pandora and Isis. There is also Astarte, but she’s the mother of them all for me. I do my work in conjunction with her.
If you haven’t noticed, a lot of this website is built on divine feminine energy. It is at the core of my work. It does not displace divine masculine - in fact, my journey with these goddesses in rooted in the imbalance between my divine masculine and feminine parts -as I lost my inner goddess, I emphasized the divine masculine.
The HeartedS2 blog and corresponding coven will explore these topics. And we’ll loop in other topics too - after all, we are a stationery and design business and will be talking about those areas too!
